Prices
All prices listed on the website are in euros (EUR), including VAT and excluding delivery costs. We reserve the right to change prices from day to day without prior consent. Reservations are made for price errors and sold-out/discontinued products.

 

Payment

Det Gamle Apotek A/S accepts payment with VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, and ApplePay. We do not charge a transaction fee for your purchase. The payment of the order will only be debited from your account when your order is shipped unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. Det Gamle Apotek A/S uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information, which means that the connection is secure.

 

Delivery

We ship to all the EU. Your package will be delivered with GLS to your home address. In special cases, we reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods. In such cases, we will notify you.

Delivery time

Your order will be delivered within 3-7 business days (for items in stock), but we strive to ship your order as soon as possible. Should there be an extended delivery time in special cases, we will notify you of this.

Det Gamle Apotek A/S accepts no responsibility or liability for delays due to weather conditions, strikes, internal problems with the parcel distributor or third-party logistics.

If an item is out of stock and therefore on backorder, you will receive an email with an estimated delivery date. At this point, we will ask you to answer whether you want to wait for the order or cancel it.


Delivery costs

Standard cost for delivery outside of Denmark is 15 EUR.
Delivery to some countries can be charged extra if the shipment weight is over 2kg or the parcel has large dimensions. In these special occasions, the customer will be contacted before we ship the order.

Return and cancellation policy

Items purchased on the webshop can only be returned to the webshop and cannot be returned or exchanged in our physical stores.

Items purchased on our webshop are subject to a 14-day return policy. The period is calculated from the day:

  • You receive your order.
  • You receive the last item of your order in case of multiple deliveries.

Cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 days after the purchase and you must return the order no later than 14 days after the cancellation. Notice of withdrawal must be given by e-mail at support@det-gamle-apotek.dk.

 Cancellation of a purchase can only take place if you expressly notify us of this. Therefore, an unclaimed package cannot be considered a cancellation of the purchase. If you have not notified us about an unclaimed package, we will contact you for clarification. If the purchase is canceled, the amount for return shipping will be deducted from the purchase amount before it is refunded to you.

You are responsible for any return costs and the choice of carrier is yours. You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have exercised your right of withdrawal. When returning an item, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packed. You must fill out this return slip and enclose it in the package.

You bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery until we have received it back. We recommend that you obtain a receipt for your return shipment. This is your proof in case the package goes missing.

We do not accept cash on delivery shipments nor do we accept items returned to a parcel shop.

 

Condition of the item upon return

Det Gamle Apotek A/S assesses the condition of the items upon return. If the product has been tried beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and function of the product, it is considered used and of reduced value. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will receive a small part or none of the purchase amount back.

 

Items excluded from the right of withdrawal

The following types of goods are not included in the right of withdrawal:

  • Items that have been made to a consumer's specifications or have been given a distinct personalized touch.
  • Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
  • Items that, due to their nature, are inextricably mixed with others upon delivery.
  • Items where the seal has been broken.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that deteriorate or expire quickly.

 

Refunds

If you regret and return your purchase, you will of course receive a refund of the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

Det Gamle Apotek A/S does not pay for return shipping.

When using the right of withdrawal, your payment will be refunded without undue delay and within 14 days from the date we have received your returned items. The refund will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

 

Local pick-up

On our webshop, it is possible to choose to pick up your order at our head office in Tønder. In this way, it is possible to buy an item online and then pick up the item physically at our head office in Tønder at the address:

It is not possible to pick up your order in one of our stores.

 

Right to complain

Products are covered by a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or workmanship. You can have the product repaired, exchanged, refunded or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. The warranty does not apply to defects or damage caused by improper handling of the product. You must make a claim within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect/fault. Here, one month is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed. Det Gamle Apotek A/S will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

If you have a complaint, please send us an email at support@det-gamle-apotek.dk with information about your purchase, defects and pictures.
From there, the further course of action will be assessed.


Privacy policy

When you purchase an item and provide the information yourself, we receive customer data. As a data controller, we treat your personal data securely and confidentially. Your personal data will only be used and stored for the purposes for which it was collected.

We use third parties to process some of our data, for example in our shipping management, which is not developed by Det Gamle Apotek A/S. We have entered into data processing agreements with our partners to ensure that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of personal data.
